Jennifer Gauvin is the founder and owner of Healing Connections where she serves as as Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in childhood trauma and play therapy. With a deep passion for helping children and families heal, Jennifer brings extensive experience working with youth in trauma-focused settings, including her work as a formic interviewer and child and family advocate.

Jennifer uses a trauma-informed, child-centered approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and connection. Each child’s therapy is tailored to their unique needs, with a focus on empowering them and supporting their overall well-being.

 Supporting a troubles child can be challenging, but parents don’t have to do it alone. Jennifer works closely with parents to strengthen communication, build consitent routines, and support positive behavior at home. she also colaboratoates with schools and other professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for the child and family.

Play therapy creates a safe supportive environment where children can process difficult experiences at their own pace. Through guided play, Jennifer helpes children build trust, improve emotional regulations, and develop healthier ways to communicate and cope.
