Week 1: Introduction, Guidelines, and Establishing the Group (November 7)
Children meet each other and their group leader, set shared guidelines for a safe and respectful space, and take part in simple icebreakers to help everyone feel comfortable.

Week 2: Communicating Worries (November 14)
Kids learn that worries are normal and that talking about them helps. Through play and guided discussion, they practice putting big feelings into words.

Week 3: Finding Coping Skills (November 21)
Children explore a toolbox of calming strategies, such as breathing exercises and grounding techniques, and practice finding which ones work best for them.

Week 4: Addressing Anxiety (December 5)
Kids learn how anxiety shows up in the body, from tight tummies to racing hearts. They practice noticing those signals early and using their coping skills in the moment.

Week 5: Confidence Building (December 12)
The group focuses on strengths, positive self-talk, and facing challenges with courage. Children practice new skills with their peers and celebrate each other’s wins.

Week 6: Closing and Self-Esteem (December 19)
Children reflect on how far they’ve come, celebrate what they’ve learned, and leave with a personal plan for using their tools at home and at school.
